Tuesday, April 3, 2012. April 3, 2012. Now that is April and I haven't blogged in months, I should start again! I need to update my Campbell posts. At this point he is 4 months old! 13 lbs 6 oz (10%) and 25 3/4 in (50%). He's a happy little guy! He can smile, laugh, roll both ways (but doesn't much) and not sleep :) he's a great little boy! They are getting to a really good age of playing well and I can totally see them being best friends soon, but how different they are. Then the nightmare began. We did nothing different than normal. We headed to Richmond on Tuesday afternoon because we could stay with my parents (THANKS Mom and Dad! Wednesday, March 5, 2014. After receiving our ashes, Burke very loudly said "umm. why did that guy just put dirt on my head? Followed up with "yeah, so tomorrow when we come back to church, I don't need any dirt. I already had a bath." I couldn't help but laugh. It's hard to explain to your 4 year old what Ash Wednesday means. :). He did also have the realization today that Jesus died. Out of nowhere during mass he (again very loudly) says "Jesus DIED? He's in my heart. He didn't die.". Insert Burke....
