The Newlywed's Paradise: Old Rocker, New Look
http://danielleandclint.blogspot.com/2010/11/old-rocker-new-look.html
Friday, November 12, 2010. Old Rocker, New Look. I had been in search for a chair to place in our Office. To create a sitting area. I wanted something small that could be easily moved around. But, with a $700 price tag, it was not going to happen. I turned to Craigslist. With a little luck, I was able to find this rocker for $25.00. I could not decide what to do with it just yet. One day while doing laundry, I happened to notice something. The pattern on it was adorable! Labels: Home Office Projects.
The Newlywed's Paradise: Keep Smiling...
http://danielleandclint.blogspot.com/2011/09/keep-smiling.html
Friday, September 2, 2011. Last Thursday, the day we finally got our power back from the storm, we got the phone call. My grandpa had passed away. He was one of those grandpa's everyone wished they had. He was always smiling, laughing, and gentle as ever. He was a huge animal lover. He would tell us stories of growing up in Oil City, PA, with his pet chicken, which was later served as dinner. To during the war. He loved his family, his wife, and his 1988 Chrysler LeBaron. Now, he is back with my grandma,...
The Newlywed's Paradise: One Year Later - Kitty
http://danielleandclint.blogspot.com/2010/10/one-year-later-kitty.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. One Year Later - Kitty. Can you believe Kitty has been in our home for almost one year? You can read Kitty's story here. If you have not, it has a happy ending :-). She is the happiest Kitty in the world! When I come home, she is running up the basement stairs to greet me. When I am watching the Real Housewives or HGTV, she is there to keep me company. Most of her days now are spent on the back of the couch, staring out the living room window. Dora and DJ are not amused.

Ireland! part 3 | home in the country
https://homeinthecountry.wordpress.com/2009/09/17/ireland-part-3
Home in the country. September 17, 2009. It rained a lot on day 3. Unfortunately, rain wind = no trip to the Skelligs. I was bummed, but we decided that this would be a good reason to come back to Ireland again soon. So we headed from Portmagee to Kenmare, stopping at the Staigue Ring Fort. It was pouring rain at this point, and we both got soaked. We ate lunch and shopped in Kenmare. After lunch, we again ventured into the rain – this time, we walked to a monolithic stone circle. Sorry, stone age man!

natural wood blocks | home in the country
https://homeinthecountry.wordpress.com/2010/08/03/natural-wood-blocks
Home in the country. August 3, 2010. A few months ago, our nephew turned 3. We wanted to get him something super-cool, something he could build with. And that’s when his mom suggested we make natural wood blocks from tree branches instead. I have to admit: having never looked into things like Waldorf teaching methods. I was a little like,. Umm, you want me to get your kid sticks for his birthday? Is this a punishment? Like coal for Christmas? Step 1 — Cut. Step 2 — Dry. Lay your cut branches out on tinfo...

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. On Breakfast Foods and Meal Planning. Tonight was low-key. Hubs had his last bowling night of the season (thank you! And Peanut and I spent the day hosting a little egg-dyeing party. We were pretty tired. Around 4:30 I decided that we would just have bowls of cereal and fruit for dinner. And I decided that if I didn't have a cup of coffee I would not make it to bedtime. And then I remembered Amanda. Posting this nommy little recipe. Planned her entire month of dinners. Last wee...

The Newlywed's Paradise
Thursday, May 17, 2012. Is There Anything Better. Than watching dad mow the grass? I think this face says it all! Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Clinton - Three Months. I know it has been quite a while, but I had to share with everyone how absolutely adorable my baby boy is! He is cooing away, getting fatter by the minute, and smiling nonstop! Art, design, and old home renovation. Watercolor Video Series: Leafs and Foliage. May 24, 2016. Recently, I've enjoyed focusing on watercolor painting, especially floral paintings. Eventually, I realized I was defaulting to painting the same "roses with a bunch of green leaves", though. While that's pretty, it didn't feel particularly exciting or challenging. So, I decided to challenge myself to two weeks of something different! That's a lot of new skills packed into a short amount of time. The leaves ha...

Not long now until the new McCann arrival appears and makes us a little family. It has been a very uneventful pregnancy with no problems for either Danielle or the baby.
