Today with my English group I read three poems by Margret Atwood ‘Christmas carol’, ‘Spelling’ and ‘A woman’s issue’ all these poems portray females as characters dominated by men , all of the three poems relate to women caught up in war which have references to abortion ,rape and childbirth.
