Author Danielle Q. Lee
Author Danielle Q. Lee. Monday, July 27, 2015. Many years ago I sent a manuscript to an agent, her reply confused me. She explained as she politely rejected it, "Great story, but there's no voice." I have to say, I was perplexed. I thought angrily, "Of course there's a voice! Didn't she hear my characters? Didn't she read the story? What I didn't understand about her comment was that it wasn't MY voice. It was then that I began to wonder, who was I writing for? Real writing is magic. And so, let go.

Research-backed Strategy. Powerful Content. Proven Results. Industries & Clients. Back in the Saddle With Software Development. Things have a funny way of working out sometimes, don’t they? Well, it’s actually pretty simple. Working on this project–along with several others I’ve already had going–means that Q4 is shaping up to be an especially busy quarter. Well, that sounds good to me! Productivity = happiness for this busy-body freelancer 🙂. October 10, 2016. Really in the past 5 years, I have become ...

Danielle Queen of Random | Lots of random, lots of fandom.
Danielle Queen of Random. Lots of random, lots of fandom. March 9, 2015. A while ago I posted that I would write about Switzerland after I’d finished my report on it. I didn’t want to publish my whole essay, so I’ve picked out several facts I thought were interesting, and some information on a few Swiss landmarks. Switzerland is a total size of 15,940 square miles, which is about twice the size of New Jersey. A phenomenon called fohn, an unexpected warm wind, can occur at any time of the year. In prepara...

Danielle Quevedo
I'm Danielle Quevedo and I've been studying Web Development for the past couple of years. I've been coding HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and XML while dabbling in PHP, iOS, and Java. Below are some of the sites I've created along with a few of the Dealertrack sites I worked on. The Silent Film Era. HTML5 / CSS3 / Video / jQuery. A one-page demo site I built using a text editor. I coded jQuery to render a lightbox that displays an iframe for third-party videos and a video tag for self-hosted videos.

Danielle Quinn
Author of soon to be published Josie and the Hollywood Aristocrats. Friday, January 20, 2012. I woke up this morning with the most vivid dream, well nightmare to be exact. I have been so excited about when my book does come out, that I didn't even think about what people would think of it. I just figured it would do great and that was that. Right? And now that I know that getting bad reviews can happen, and it will I'm sure, how do you as a writer cope with it? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
