Thursday, June 3, 2010. My piece uses 3 smaller paintings (marriage, house, baby) contained within a white drawer. The concept being that these events do exist, however, the order can be switched, one can be taken out of the box, all of them can be taken out of the box, and although the idea of them will never disappear from society, you have the option to make your own choices and path in life. First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes the Baby in the Baby Carriage". Oil paint, wood, ribbon.

Most people who know me and my work, know that I can sometimes get a bit obsessed with different themes, subjects, objects, etc. and will repeat these things in my work until I move on to the next thing. My most recent obsession has been poppy flowers. It started with the poppy field I painted in my Wizard of Oz painting. 12 x 18 in. Also, I will be part of the group show "Idiot box" at Gallery 1988. Carrie Bradshaw-magnetic dress up. 13 x 16 in. Oil and magnetic paint on board.

Saturday, October 22, 2011. I'm excited to be showing at Spoke Art in San Francisco for the first time! The show, "Bad Dads" is a Wes Anderson tribute show. For this show I focused on The Royal Tennenbaums because of my long time love and fascination with J.D. Salinger, Wes Anderson's inspiration for this film. I've posted here. The Architecture of the House on Archer Avenue. 13 x 15 in. Oil and gold on board. This show opens next weekend, Saturday and Sunday at Spoke Art Gallery:.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010. I have an unbelievable amount of stuff that I've found, well, in the trash, and I fully blame my father for this habit that I'v developed. With that being said though, most of these treasures find their way into my work, and that will forever be my excuse for collecting them. These are two gems that were both picked up and I adore :). I have been so excited about when my book does come out, that I didn't even think about what people would think of it. I just figured it would do great and that was that. Right? And now that I know that getting bad reviews can happen, and it will I'm sure, how do you as a writer cope with it? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Frog Pictures
Frogs are one of my most favorite animals. I love to photograph them. I don't know when I started to really become interested in frogs. I had a couple for pets when I was little and I've enjoyed them ever since. I would like to start a collection of frog photographs for myself. On this site I will be showing some of them.
