http://speedpacer.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2007. Off to the North! After my belly would was full, I took a trip over Butterfly, the table tennis company that has sponsored me since 1986. This is a picture of the new building. This is a picture of my office when I worked here in 2006 for 6 months. You can see my laptop, computer, vitamins are still waiting for me. I go into back of the building to make sure the Brian Pace racket still exist, and it does. Here’s is picture right out of the box. Thanksgiving dinner was good an...

Monday, July 23, 2007. Baby, Let me "Upgrade you". After buying a new Road bike in the Spring and a Wedding in Vegas in the Summer (Yes, a wedding in Vegas is a pretty penny), it’s time to change all the vital organs on the Fire truck Red Racer X. Right to the action! 2005 Bontrager Race Lite X Wheels. 2007 Mavic CrossMax SLR’s. The Bontragers have been good to me, but it’s time to move on up. I have them Mavic’s on the Felt F1C, and I now know why I need the upgrade. 2007 Avid Juicy Ultimate’s. Ágilis (...

SpeedPacer: September 2007
http://speedpacer.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 24, 2007. After the race in Tallahassee I was really motivated to get back and train because the program is going better than expected. I didn't attack one climb at the race, and I was able to put in 3 solid laps (With the exception of crashing and losing time the last lap) and my legs felt fresh. It was actually nice to show leadership skills to the group. Normally, I shut my mouth and get the workout that I need for that day. Doesn’t that give your legs more integrity in this phase?

SpeedPacer: August 2007
http://speedpacer.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2007. Road Racing and A Ice bath. We stop at a gas station about a half mile from the park, and I buy him a 32oz Powerade for the 20 mile escort to the park. I drink 1 of the Powerades, and top off my 2 water bottles with the other and we head to the park. When we get to 2 laps to go I'm in the same place and I'm only able to gain 2 or 3 spots when we make the turns. With 1 lap to go it actually slows down on the back side of the course and 3 riders jump off the front. I'm cooked like ...

Monday, April 30, 2007. Rosewood Road Series 1 - Final Race. Rosewood Road Series Final Race of Series 1. Getting turned inside out! Jump to the start-line, and I’ve had a great warm up and ready walk away with 2 both classifications. I told Abdel that I have worked hard every race, and it’s not fair to my effort to give away a classification. I said, You are going to have to win it . Dennis and Blaine trying to stay away! I do feel a lot of pride to have won both classifications, because no one in the h...

Monday, May 21, 2007. Rosewood Road Series 2 - Race 2. I’m riding high after race 1 of the 2nd series, because I feel like I can sprint with the best of them right now. Even though I’m not doing too much training for the road, I’m riding quite good. Here is quick version:. Didn’t take 1 pull. Attack went up the road. Mike Bush stayed away, and soloed in for the win. Got boxed in on the sprint. Took 3rd after Abdel, but the result said I finished 4th behind Raul. I didn’t lose to Raul. Monday, May 14, 2007.

Sunday, March 25, 2007. I look at her, and say What! She said you just bought a $5000.00 bike, and I want a dog. I look at her, and I said, Do you realize my bike doesn’t poop? She started laughing. We stay silent for a little bit, then say, small dog, easy temperment, and semi-independent . She shows me the open book, and it’s picture of Yorkie. I said, do your research, then come back to me when you are ready. I found a temporary solution to this problem. Posted by Brian Pace at 11:06 AM. I told her I’...

Monday, June 18, 2007. Rosewood Road Series 2 - Race 4. We are at the line, and I’m dreading what the announcer is going to say. Who is the leader? I raised my hand slowly, and he said Why don’t you have the yellow jersey? We are at the line, and I’m dreading what the announcer is going to say. Who is the leader? I raised my hand slowly, and he said Why don’t you have the yellow jersey? I haven’t seen Abel or Raul for Sun Cycling, they normally light things up to let their presence be know. Carlos ri...

SpeedPacer: February 2007
http://speedpacer.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 7, 2007. I decided to do something I have never done, to do some road racing this year. I think I have become accustomed to riding my bike so hard, that I’m not as fresh as I should be when the race season starts in late September. So changing up my program should be refreshing to the legs. Why the new program? Posted by Brian Pace at 11:16 AM. Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. View my complete profile.
