I Knit, Therefore I Blog: June 2013
http://iknitthereforeiblog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
I Knit, Therefore I Blog. Kathy Kathy Kathy's recombobulation area. Saturday, June 15, 2013. I finally published the drop stitch scarf/shawl pattern that I've been designing off and on for at least a couple of years. It turned out really well, even better than I had hoped, actually. It's fun to knit, it's not complicated, it can use just about any yarn or needle, it makes a nice scarf or a nice stole. It can be sophisticated or rustic, blocked or free-form. 65279;. It's a good summer project.

I Knit, Therefore I Blog: Sock Rehemming
http://iknitthereforeiblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/sock-rehemming.html
I Knit, Therefore I Blog. Kathy Kathy Kathy's recombobulation area. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. One of the first real pairs of socks I ever made was a pair out of Collinette Jitterbug. The yarn cost $21.00, which was a huge. The old bind off has been partially removed. I found some of the leftovers of the original yarn and rebound them. The hardest part was unraveling / unthatching / picking out the old bind off. It took almost an hour for both socks. Close Up of the New Bind-Off. 65279;. Ive done that :).

I Knit, Therefore I Blog. Kathy Kathy Kathy's recombobulation area. Monday, May 20, 2013. I fear this wont end well. May 20, 2013 1:56 PM. I made my frankenneedles out of big cheap plastic needles and aquarium tubing. I cut off the cord connectors and had Scott turn the needles on the lathe, to make the aquarium tubing seat on the needle with a smooth join. I use them for making felted slippers and they work really well. May 20, 2013 2:22 PM. No not the tape! May 20, 2013 7:22 PM. May 20, 2013 7:38 PM.

Planting the Seeds of Great Design. Great gardens are created with horticultural expertise and a keen eye for design. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Oh the places you'll grow. Are starting to unfurl above deep, olive green, stout foliage. In the spring and summer the first several years in the ground, especially if planted at the base of trees where they will have to compete for water. That blooms in the winter? http://plantingtheseedsofgreatdesign.blogspot.com/2010/10/starting-out.html
Planting the Seeds of Great Design. Great gardens are created with horticultural expertise and a keen eye for design. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Fear not, this isn't a blog about me, rather it's a blog that I hope will convey my passion for plants, gardening and garden design. Just the same, in this first post I will give you some background information about me so you are reassured that I am not some hack with a keyboard and an internet connection spouting off about gardening. I have been fortunate to ...

Planting the Seeds of Great Design. Great gardens are created with horticultural expertise and a keen eye for design. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. We all seemed to have more or less survived this year's first snow storm, though it pains me to use the word storm when describing the weather conditions we had Monday. Yes, we did have snow, a jaw dropping 2" , and we even had some significant wind. But seriously, snow. Let's bring it down a couple of notches, people. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. I hadn't e...
