Sunday, May 10, 2009. Mission fam was actually a lot of fun. We had 4 formation flights which I flew on a Saturday and Sunday doing 'super form' out of GTR. I flew with the flight commander for all of those and they were pretty easy but very enjoyable. He was a good teacher. Then we moved on to the basics of airdrop and refueling before assignment night. I think they really liked seeing that, but Cindy told me should would NEVER want to go through all of that as a living! Well, there's an update finally!

Friday, May 30, 2008. Well, it was only a 4-day week but it was certainly long enough, Uncle, Uncle! Glad that's over with, one more week closer now to graduation and wings! Had my 4006 ride today which finishes up the block, and I was pretty happy with it! I went from 4 bad radio calls yesterday (which at 25c each cost my $1 this morning) to being the only one NOT to get one this evening during second go flying! But I'm not sure if I'm going to go with them or not at this point. Thursday, May 29, 2008.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. That's right, this is my 100th post according to my blog interface (I certainly haven't been counting them myself)! Well, in recent news on Friday night we went to Rob's house and had about 6 or 7 from the class over there to grill up some food, watch tv, hang out, and sit around the fire. :) He bought a fire pit last Monday and we were itching to try it out! Our little peanut is due Sept. 1st (which is great timing, as Allan graduates July 31st! Your fetus is now about three inches long, the size of a peach — and half of that length is head. Wow, how time flies! 6 months ago, I was in labor, excited to meet our little Rachael Elizabeth. A big name for such a little peanut. Her first month saw us moving to Albuquerque. On the way, we stopped in DFW for the weekend. We were able to get Rachael baptized and introduce her to all of her family! For her second month, we went to the ABQ Balloon Fiesta.
