Life with the manzes. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Our sweet Allison is now over 2 weeks old. I still can't believe that she's here sometimes. But then in a way it seems like she's been with us forever. So how has it been? Much easier that I thought it would be! We are tired. she's still a newborn.but whether it's her sweet temperament or just that we now have a clue.it's felt so great to have this little addition to our family. I can't believe how much we love her. With sleep it's been rather inconsistent.

Life with the manzes. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Sweet Allie Mae,. You are now over 6 weeks old. Wow, we are so blessed with you in our lives. Time is really going by fast but we are enjoying our precious days with you. You are eating well. Around 9 lbs, 10 oz at our last doctor visit. 50% for height and weight. 90% for head circumference. Your stomach still gets really upset when you eat too much but we're trying to slow you down a bit so you can keep it down. You are sleeping well. And you are playing well.

Life with the manzes. Monday, January 14, 2013. Mini Manz 2.0 aka Baby Girl Manz. Apparently I only blogged 3 times in 2012. And hopefully i'll do better in 2013. For you see I was the 2nd child. I remember seeing lots of pictures of my brother in the family albums. And only a few of me. Well, much less of me. Yes, 2nd child syndrome. Why else would i remember that? So i vow to have lots of pictures of our baby girl. I want her to know how much she is loved already. Yes, baby girl Manz is coming our way!

Life with the manzes. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Our holidays- the BIG surprise. We love the holidays around here. After traveling with our little guy in October we decided that we probably didn't want to fly with him again this year. He's a good boy. And four hours on a plane plus all the inevitable delays, etc. So we made no plans. We celebrated Thanksgiving here in Lyons. The most yummy food. Lots of Christmas movies. We had our 4th Annual Manz Family Christmas party. On an incredibly cold night.
