Daniel's Blog: A Step Further Into the Motoring Society
http://initious.blogspot.com/2013/05/a-step-further-into-motoring-society.html
Friday, May 24, 2013. A Step Further Into the Motoring Society. The mandatory probation plate (P plate) for new drivers (less than 1 yr driving exp). I had my Class 3 driving test on 24th January 2013. It was my first test and I was very nervous. Will I pass? What if I make any stupid mistakes? This was definitely a great motivation to me. As fate would have it, I passed. Finally. I am a certified driver! I soon enrolled for Class 4, the day after passing my driving test. Thankfully, I passed my Class 4 ...

Monday, December 31, 2012. End of Another Year. As 2012 comes to an end, I have to say it was definitely a very eventful year. Going on, I visited Hong Kong after my POP to visit my granduncle. He's over 90 years old this year and every time I visit him, I'd worry that it'd be my very last time seeing him. Thankfully, he's still fit as a fiddle as of today! I somehow regret not forging a close relationship with him when I was young. Fortunately I am still given this chance now. In April, it was another p...

Daniel's Blog: May 2014

Thursday, May 1, 2014. Driving. Let's put it simply. You put your buttocks on the driver's seat, fire up your engines and off you go. Be it to work, school, a meeting with friends or loved ones. Driving is one of the many ways of commuting. However, is it the best? Moving on to public transport, you get "chauffeured" around in a bus or taxi where you can sleep, read, listen to music or WhatsApp which is impossible to do while driving except maybe for listening to music. The downside? I took the public tr...

Daniel's Blog: What's Happening?
http://initious.blogspot.com/2012/11/whats-happening.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. Such a simple matter, does it have to be so complicated? It felt like whoever was in charged did not want to do anything from the start and just wanted to delay stuff, seriously, stop all this crap and get a life. 3 days was spent simply lazing around, shopping, eating and chatting non-stop. Our chat never seems to end, not that I'm complaining though. Looking forward to yet another trip coming up in January! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Daniel's Blog: Chasing the Michelin Star - Tim Ho Wan

Saturday, June 22, 2013. Chasing the Michelin Star - Tim Ho Wan. Photo from Tim Ho Wan's Facebook page. The menu - Prices aren't exactly that cheap, but they are the cheapest Michelin starred restaurant. The wait was almost unbearable seeing that you could look directly into the restaurant, without any glass panels to block your view, and smell the food that they are serving. Finally, after a wait of almost an hour, we were let into the restaurant to taste the Michelin goodness. I was proven wrong when i...

Daniel's Blog: February 2013
http://initious.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 21, 2013. Finally, the truth after an almost 4.5 year investigation which started from a piece of letter. I finally managed to reveal the truth today. 7897 days on Earth and I finally discovered it. Oh well, at least I was mentally prepared for it since 4.5 years ago or I'd seriously have a rude shock on this day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Daniel's Blog: Heart (Hard) Matters
http://initious.blogspot.com/2012/09/heart-hard-matters.html
Monday, September 24, 2012. Sometimes Heaven really like to play a joke on us. You get brought up to a level full of hope atop a platform, then suddenly the platform breaks and you drop to the beginning again. Why do people have to have simple matters complicated? It was a failed attempt, but I am glad I attempted it. It allowed me to speak my heart out despite the failure. I am not giving up so easily, I will fight for what I want to get. Kampateh. http://initious.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. It's been a year since I enlisted, which means I have exactly a year left to go! The past year was yet full of ups and downs. I got to know how military life is like, adapted to it and now just looking forward to the end of it. I certainly do remember the fear, anxiety and questions exactly a year ago. Oh well, just 1 more year to go! Friday, August 10, 2012. It's been almost a month since I last blogged, now I'm back with more stuffs. Well, we'll see. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
