Sweet, colorful, and all their own flavor . . . Sunday, August 21, 2011. Well, it's already begun. On Friday Ryanne came home and, amidst her chatter about her day, she nonchalantly threw in a little comment about "so-and-so was smoking weed in the bathroom and he smelled terrible! Then she just kept right on babbling away about P.E. and math class. Wait! Tell me more about that last comment . . . And I don't even want to think about what she'll see at high school next year. Sigh! Monday, August 15, 2011.

Sweet, colorful, and all their own flavor . . . Thursday, April 28, 2011. At Martin's Cove there were several buildings that displayed artifacts, tools, weapons, clothing, etc. from the 1800's. Ryanne was quite taken with these items. She really loves history and is quite obsessed with old things. She loved browsing through the little homes and cataloging the items. She even read all the signs. She's cool. Here are some things she wanted to remember and took pictures of. A rattle snake. Ooooh, scary!

My JellyBellies: Faux Camping
http://melissamousenwes.blogspot.com/2013/02/faux-camping.html
Sweet, colorful, and all their own flavor . . . Tuesday, February 05, 2013. Alas, this December, it was too cold for us to brave it. We've actually had one of the coldest winters I've experienced in Southern California. Not that our 28 degree weather can even touch the negative degrees I experienced in Idaho! What a fun time we had . . . as you can see in our pictures. Isn't it funny how just being somewhere else (besides home) can change the atmosphere and create a little adventure? And we ate donuts.
