Saturday, August 23, 2014. In mid-August we took a family road trip back to Asheville to visit our friends there. In particular, our dear friends Anne and Silvio were visiting from Germany. We hadn't seen Anne since we parted ways in England in 2006 so it was a very special occasion! Chris' aunt and uncle very graciously shared their home in Marshall with us for the week. Their home is beautiful and it was a great way to host our friends and enjoy the mountains. The view was as great as we remembered.

Monday, August 03, 2015. At the end of July I took the kids down to Iowa so Susannah and I could go to Adventureland with my dad and sister. I was 3 years old the first time I went to Adventureland with my Grandma Kleinsmith so it was fun to see Suz having a great time!
