A work in progress. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Messes are ok sometimes. I've felt like a different person lately.not sure why, but maybe just alot of changes. One big change is the addition of a roommate to my tiny apartment! My bedroom has taken the brunt of this move. It is jam packed with the contents of a 2.5 rooms. It works though. With the recent reminder, I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for my great job and place to live - Neighbors upstairs, I appreciate the recognition that I DO live below you and don't care to watch TV to the beat of your aerobics video.

A work in progress. Sunday, January 18, 2009. Here's some pictures from my somewhat recent life. Me and Katie at her rehearsal dinner.she was glowing the whole weekend! Some of the bridesmaids on the grey route to the reception. My sweet dad on grandparent christmas visit (Be glad I didn't post the one of you snoozing :). Gonna miss you Sarah! A work in progress. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. As I was calling patients up to triage, M.H.'s turn came. Here comes a enthusiastic little woman trotting up to the desk. I checked back to the screen to look at the person's profile to ensure I had gotten the correct one. 73 yo female. Me- "How old are you ma'am"? MH - "Why, I'm 73". Me- "No, there's no way you're 73! When I was having her sign her discharge papers, she said, "So you wanna know my secret? Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Today has been good.

A work in progress. Monday, December 22, 2008. Merry Christmas.just early! Since I work the night of the 24th and the 26th, my only real chance to be with MS family and exchange gifts was the 22nd and 23rd. Santa came to my house early to accomodate UAB's whip-cracking schedule. Friday, December 5, 2008. I got some wise advise from a friend recently to be really selfish. Once again it's been way too long since I've blogged, but you've started to expect these sort of absences from me right? 1)Races tend to be cluttered with people. I fall, I take down 4-5 innocent surrounding racers. 3)The longest distance I've ridden on a bike was around 30 mi but that was once, and really slow and flat.
