Monday, October 27, 2014. Kendall's 12 Month Update. I’m a year old, holy moly! I don’t think any baby sister is as loved as I am by my brothers. Every morning they are so excited to see me and want me around constantly. Teething hasn’t seemed to bother me this month. I haven’t been grumpy. Thursday, July 24, 2014. Steve celebrated his 35th with a ice cream cake (his favorite) and the LEGO Movie (others favorite). Carson started a summer soccer league. December 23, 2013. Sparkly Seashore Christmas Tree. So I got this crazy/brilliant idea to decorate the Christmas tree all with seashells and red berries. Mom suggested adding sprigs of baby's breath. We didn't end up getting the red berries. But we created an assembly line and mod podged and glittered a bunch of sea urchins, sea stars and sand dollars. I got one HUGE sea star for the top. She got married on a Friday and had a formal reception with family and close friends that night. Saturday we had a "baby it's cold outside" themed brunch for everyone to attend. December 24, 2013. We all went over to Uncle Jim's church for a candlelight Christmas Eve service. It was really lovely and sweet. The kids from the congregation dressed up and did a nativity play, there were sweet musical numbers and then everyone stood in a circle and passed a flame from one candle to the next until everyone's was lit. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. At the young age of 22, singing for opera directors was far more intimidating. Now, it is just what I do, but it is far more rewarding, and I have the skills to prepare for them. The feedback I received was wonderful. When the audition was over, the party commenced: at the science museum, Zoo, and aquarium. Lynn McMillan is one of my favorite people, we had so much fun, and the sloth bear is a must see! Sunday, August 5, 2012. In the Spring of 2012, both Oliver and Aiden decided they wanted to sign up for soccer. To say that it was so much fun would be an understatement. Four days a week we got out of the house and went to practices or games. We all went. It was a package deal. Here are some photos of the season. Aiden trying to steel the ball from the blue team with a backward kick. Aiden intervening and getting the ball. Aiden right in the center of the action driving the ball home.
