A Trip to SE Asia. Monday, February 6, 2012. The Rest of the Philippines onto Vietnam. Since the last post, it feels like I've done quite a bit in a short amount of time. Didn't any of you douchebags watch the video? The famous rice terraces. Rae had actually built a hut in the Ifugao style (thatched roof/on stilts) and this is where we stayed for the two nights we were there. Crash pad.doing it like the real locals. Found this in my bag. A Trip to SE Asia. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Arriving to the Homeland. Comb overs = legit. I left with Tomas in his car with Lilia trailing behind on her motorbike to another house not too far away. This was where Faustina Agbayani Tunac lived who is the sister of my Grandpa. She is 90 years old, the youngest of her siblings (8 in total, one of only 2 still alive), and talks exactly like my Grandma used to talk. And such a sweet sweet lady. Grandpa's Sister, Faustina. Halo Halo aka bowl of sugar.
