VISUAL / AUDIO / BEHAVIORAL ART. This animation was created for the the debut performance of Ben Lear’s. Lillian: A Folk Opera. It was produced as a series extended clips, allowing the video technician to trigger scene changes in sync with the orchestra, rather than requiring the orchestra to play to a click track. The screens are dark for the first part of the animation, with only occasional distant lightning flashes. The main part begins about 2 minutes in. Stop motion elements animated by Rachel Lyons.
