Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Inner Islands for bore Well Mapping. I'm off tomorrow morning to the inner islands for more bore well mapping for an undetermined amount of time. I'll be out of email contact for the most part. Tuesday, September 9, 2008. These last few days have been Ganesh Puja. Temple out side my window, Delanipur. We will be meeting with communities, drilling a bore well, digging a ring well and installing a pipe system. April 25th - - Fly to Kolkata. April 29th - -Train to Delhi. Phases in shades of pink. Life is complicated. It not only comes in various colors but in various shades of each color. Black and white appear at opposite extremes of the spectrum and in between are all the different shades of colors. Thus, hot pink would be funky, lively and energetic while a rose white would symbolize a more serene, peaceful and pure environment. My life therefore, is colored in shades of pink. Don't pinch me if I'm dreaming. Tuesday, January 15, 2008. After a strange winter "hiatus" that brought 62 degrees and sunshine, the snow has returned as a reminder that it is indeed still January. The natural order of the seasons has been restored and all is well with the world once again. It has been snowing steadily since yesterday morning. We aren't yet approaching the 48 inches for which Levi continually prays, but it's enough to require boots and to cause road hazards. Links to this post.
