For everyone that knows us or follows me on Facebook or Twitter you know that Jules and I are expecting our first child, and I really can't imagine that we could be more excited! And it really does feel like an adventure to us. Jules and I joked that it is like the best reality television show ever. at least from our point of view. It's official. Less than five years after getting LASIK surgery, which allowed me to see without glasses for the first time in about 25 years, I will now need to get reading glasses. I've become farsighted. I'm very troubled by this, because to me a return to my glasses days is a return to days of even lower self-esteem.
