1931年にガブリエル ダントンによってフランス ロワレ シェール県シャートルで創設されたワークウエア ブランド。 1970年代中旬頃から'90年代までパリ市内を含む多くの行政やパリ地下鉄を司るP.A.T.P社、フランス国鉄S.N.C.F社などへの制服や作業服を納めていた由緒あるブランド。 ガブリエル ダントン氏がフランス ロワレ シェール県シャートルにMANUFACTURE TEXTILE DU CENTREという工場を設立。 当時 MANUFACTURE TEXTILE DU CENTRE社 は主に、カバーオール、ブルゾンやパンツの作業着と、シェフ用のジャケットとパンツ、ガーデニング用のエプロンを製造していた。 MANUFACTURE TEXILE DU CENTRE社 の場合、パリがメインのマーケットとなった。 70年代中頃から’80年代まで DANTON ブランドでパリ市内を含む多くの行政や、パリ地下鉄を司るP.A.T.P社、フランス国鉄 S.N.C.Fなどへの制服 作業服を納めていた。
