Carter Bob: From Buzzcut to Beautiful Locks!
http://carterbob.blogspot.com/2011/01/holy-hair-batman.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. From Buzzcut to Beautiful Locks! Tomorrow marks the 8th month since God called me to grow my hair out for Locks of Love. I went from having a shaved head to long flowing locks! It has been a process and an interesting journey so far and it has been a great conversation starter, especially when people tell me I need to get my hair cut! It's also funny to hear people call me Samson because of my hair and the fact I'm a cheerleader! This is something that I know that God is calling...

Carter Bob: Mere Glimpses at Mowing
http://carterbob.blogspot.com/2009/07/mere-glimpses-at-mowing.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Mere Glimpses at Mowing. It was interesting. I was just thinking about it, how one moment it could be fearless and then the next moment it was so afraid it had to turn and run. But it is understandable. the baby bird was smaller than the palm of my hand and the mower is the size of a small car. haha I'd be afraid as well. Well I suppose I should go finish the mowing out there. Till next time. ByeBye and God Bless! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Kalyn's Story: April 2011
http://kalynlantz.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A snapshot of my life and experiences. Saturday, April 16, 2011. Final Days at UCU. Sometimes the end of those seasons simply stink. It’s Saturday morning and I am sitting in Agatha’s room while she studies for an exam she has this afternoon (yes, they have exams on Saturdays). I don’t really want to leave her side, Yet in an hour and a half I will be leaving for a wedding my family invited me to, a Ugandan princess marrying a Norwegian man. It should be interesting. Now that is sad. I cannot believe the...

You gotta want it!: September 2010
http://jeremygw.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
You gotta want it! Sunday, September 5, 2010. And they are in order of finish). We both thought the Ravens and Bengals would fight over the division this year. The Steelers are always tough but too many distractions right now. The Ravens are so complete and the Bengals really started to turn things around last year. I think the Bengals will put up a fight till the end but it may not be enough for the division or a wildcard. As for the Browns, well yeah. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What Am I Living For?

You gotta want it!: February 2011
http://jeremygw.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
You gotta want it! Monday, February 28, 2011. I have been listening to Lecrae a lot recently. Lecrae is a rap artist. He is an extremely passionate artist and challenges me in many ways with his songs. The song. Is an amazing song. I am loving this song so much right now. If this life has anything to gain at all. I count it lost if I can't hear you, feel you, 'cause I need you. Can't walk this earth alone. I recognize I am not my own, so before I fall. With every breath I take, with every heart beat,.

http://jeremygw.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
You gotta want it! Saturday, December 24, 2011. So my first semester of college is done and over with. :) I'm really glad about how everything turned out: the roommates, the classes, the new friendships. I experienced alot of new things and it was great for the most part. Starting with my roommates, I began the year with two of them, Travis and Donny. As our hall's (3rd Floor West! My second highlight was that of the Junior High guys I got to make friendships with. I am helping teach a 7th grade Sund...

Charlie Brown's Teacher: October 2013
http://charliebrownteacher.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 3, 2013. Once in a while, I go a month where I just can't manage to finish a blog. That month was July. No big deal. August was NOT funny, witty, or encouraging. I'm not even sure that I LEARNED anything the entire month. On a destructive path that would bring wonderful learning opportunities soon. Sidenote to my sidenote:. Anywho, I walked around most of the month feeling heavy. For once I'm not talking about the scale! It was as if someone was sitting on my soul. Comfort eating did mo...

Charlie Brown's Teacher: February 2013
http://charliebrownteacher.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Genesis 4 - The Story of Cain and Abel (A Sunday School Discussion). Our friend, Nathan, brought up two famous Biblical brothers, Cain and Abel. Abel sacrificed a perfect, fat calf on the alter to God; and Cain offered some crops from the fields he had been working. They both were seeking and worshiping God. Abel's sacrifice pleased God. Instead, He focused on Cain's reaction. God was ready to have a loving, fatherly, teaching moment with Cain. Why is your face downcast?

Charlie Brown's Teacher: Guy Emotions
http://charliebrownteacher.blogspot.com/2014/10/guy-emotions.html
Thursday, October 2, 2014. Fellow Mother-of-boys, Rhonda Schrock. Wrote a blog post. In which she asked for a translator. She was searching for any avenue to better understand the alien men with whom she lives. As she wrote, she marveled, " Imagine if a burp said, 'That was a fabulous meal. You are a queen among women, and your knack with a skillet is unrivaled.'". Well, Rhonda, you may be on to something! Her blog got me thinking about a conversation I had with my own. To get out. Problematically, t...
