DaParson's Fishing Adventures: Bayano River Fishing for Snook
http://daparsonfishing.blogspot.com/2009/03/bayano-river-fishing-for-snook.html
Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Bayano River Fishing for Snook. The fishing was pretty slow - not many bites or bumps. We did catch Snook up to about 10lbs. But the story of the day was the "One that got away." Towards the end of the day, I hooked a massive Snook. After fighting the fish for about 20-25 minutes, he wrapped me around a log on the flat along the channel and the braided line snapped when we tried to free it. We had a great time fishing with Capt. Tony Herndon of Panama Fishing and Catchin. We caug...

Friday, October 29, 2004. This was a little Rat Red that Nathan - my 7 year old son - caught. He was as excited by this as many are about the Bull Reds we catch from time to time. Posted by daparson @ 6:23 PM. Wednesday, October 27, 2004. October 27th - David and Johnathan. This was one of the larger ones on the day. Johnathan caught this 42" - Almost pulled him in - but with patience and perserverance (and alot of line and good drag) he landed him. Posted by daparson @ 3:22 PM. Monday, October 25, 2004.
