Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. To celebrate our anniversary, graduation and the fall term of school being done, I surprised Chris with a trip on the Mt. Hood Railroad. The 4 hour train ride travels from Hood River to the base of Mt. Hood and back. If you haven't been to that part of Oregon you really should, there are lots of orchards and farms, rivers and streams, waterfalls, nature galore. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). When everyone was in Issaquah for Kia's wedding last August we finally made our 1st trip to the XXX burger stand. The food was great and we were able to see what XXX really stood for. It referred to their triple extra large portions. Hold on 'cause it is a whirlwind. Sunday, January 27, 2008. There is something about snow that makes me feel like a kid inside. Chris and I woke up to giant snow flakes falling outside and so we jumped out of bed, put on our rarely used snow gear and went for a walk around the neighborhood.
