http://underdogishere.blogspot.com/2010/11/this-is-way-we-cook.html
Friday, November 12, 2010. This is the Way We Cook! Asina Nos ta Cushina. Compiled by Jewell Fenzi. One of the greatest pleasures of traveling is enjoying the local cuisines. Cooking seems like such a straightforward human activity, yet each culture and even sub-culture has found food to prepare and a way to prepare and even eat it which is completely original and unique and just as amazing and enjoyable as every other culture's and even sub-culture's cuisine. Seek out authentic Japanese? I know you do.

Lambsworld: Mini Sampler Swap
http://lambworld.blogspot.com/2015/03/mini-sampler-swap.html
Friday, March 6, 2015. I haven't done a lot of swapping lately but when Linda from A Swap for All Seasons. Graciously invited me to be part of her Mini Sampler Swap I just couldn't say no. The way the swap works is we'll make and swap a mini sampler stitched piece each month so that at the end of the year we'll have several pieces to make into a beautiful hand stitched garland. Isn't that a great idea? I think so too. My January mini sampler was stitched by Becky. And I just love it! Hey Linda.I love...

underdogishere: Keeping the "Christian" in Christmas
http://underdogishere.blogspot.com/2010/12/keeping-in.html
Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Keeping the Christian in Christmas. We were in a restaurant, and at a nearby table the waiter was wrapping up serving a party. Overheard:. Where I come from, we say "Merry Christmas.". We're supposed to say "Happy Holidays," so we include people who don't celebrate Christmas. First we were entertained by your stupidity, and now we're being entertained by your bulls* t. Except this obviously pious Christian didn't censor himself with asterisks. Posted by gs @ 3:00 AM.
