Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: the year of the accordion
http://rachwarwick.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-year-of-accordion.html
Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Tuesday, April 30, 2013. The year of the accordion. It lives in a blue suitcase in our spare room where it makes a great table. But recently I decided that unless we were putting it to good use then its a waste of space and a waste of a good instrument. So I declare. 2013 is the year of the accordion. A while ago we were given an accordion. Long story but it was found in a garage belonging to my parents friends and somehow made its way to us. Today is Accordion Day 1.

Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: repost: glee and jesus
http://rachwarwick.blogspot.com/2013/01/repost-glee-and-jesus.html
Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Saturday, January 26, 2013. Repost: glee and jesus. This is a post I wrote two years ago for the Church Mouse blog. Episode preview of Glee, series 2, episode 3: Grilled Cheesus). They addressed sexuality, disability and teenage pregnancy in with a no-nonsense approach so bold it’d be easy to forget there ever was any taboo around the subjects so it was inevitable that eventually, Glee would ‘do Jesus’. The episode, titled Grilled Cheesus. The Glee Club members address a...

Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: five minute friday: visit
http://rachwarwick.blogspot.com/2014/01/five-minute-friday-visit.html
Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Five minute friday: visit. Fem minutters fredag: besøk*. I've just spent 90 minutes on the phone to a friend. But today was about catching up with a friend who moved away last year. We used to live a few minutes apart. Today a quick "visit" would take over 10 hours travel there and back. I miss our regular times of chatting, laughing, sharing and praying. The travel was easy and the company was too. Select the permalink to your post {so not...

Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: they gave me the world
http://rachwarwick.blogspot.com/2015/03/they-gave-me-world.html
Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Saturday, March 14, 2015. They gave me the world. Hosted a week of posts specifically curated for International Women's Day by Dr Clare Rush. One of them, entitled They Gave Me A Box. Has been widely shared across social media. It's a poem describing the way the author experienced church and growing up in it as a young woman. It just hasn't happened that way for me. If I was to rewrite this poem to tell my story it'd be called "They gave me the world". I've never felt li...

Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: oldest fish finger ever?
http://rachwarwick.blogspot.com/2009/05/oldest-fish-finger-ever.html
Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Friday, May 01, 2009. Oldest fish finger ever? Originally uploaded by rachwarwick. This is Rotty - the fishy fish finger from frinton. He was a prop at FAB Summer Camp 1995 - preserved for 14 years by a large amount of varnish. He doesn't smell, except of varnish and, as you can see, his high quality cape, safety goggles and crash helmet have protected him well. May 07, 2009 9:12 pm. So was that a real fish finger? Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"?: great customer service

Not "Where Next" but "Where Now"? Thursday, January 30, 2014. The train company, First Capital Connect, are using twitter for the bulk of their customer relations work. Reading through their timeline is eye-opening, with tweet after tweet of gracious apology and information in response to grumpy customers. Well done Jay and the team at @FirstCC. January 30, 2014 8:42 pm. Ha ha, brilliant! April 01, 2014 3:15 am. Visiting from the A to Z Challenge. Dont you wish ALL customer service was like that? The tra...
