Aug 27, 2012. We took Clara over to the school today to see who her kindergarten teacher is. We walked through the halls and found her classroom and as we walked in my chest got all tight and I got big fat tears in my eyes and wasn't quite sure I was going to be able to do this! Why is a few hours a day so darn hard? I will have that for a few hours twice a week! It will be okay won't it? We went on a trip to St. Thomas for Katie's graduation and decided we would have a romantic night alone (Derek had made plans that he wouldn't tell me about). Turns out he had chartered a sailboat for a sunset sail! Little did I know he would propose to me right there on the sailboat! How romantic is that! We ate at an amazing seafood restaurant, Agave, after to celebrate! It was so amazing! I love my ring, it is a 1920s antique! Monday, May 11, 2009.

More than you ever wanted to know. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Good Evening from Rome. Here are some highlights from the last few days. We took the ferry from Naples to Sorrenton on Friday morning - bottom line - we definitely want to go back and visit and explore the Amalfi Coast. Sorrento was truly amazing. Wednesday, July 9, 2008. We had a great time in Utah and it was fun to see family there! We had an interesting drive home. The transmission on our van started acting up outside of Wendover and we had to keep stopping to cool down the engine. By the time we reached Donner, the transmission was shot and Darin had to keep it in neutral almost the whole way to Auburn. Then he babied it the rest of the way home. Monday, April 18, 2011. School her teacher made the whole class enter an Earth Day contest up at the Ogden Nature Center. The theme was, "I can change the world with my own two hands." We got a call last week informing us that MyKelle. Won first place in the contest! We are so proud of her! We went up to the Ogden nature center on Saturday for the ceremony.
