Sometimes the Lord uses scriptures to speak to you, but not in the way you expect. In the early mornings at 6:30 when I drag myself out of bed to feed Z and get the day started, the world is quiet and lamp light soft. I read my bible while he sleepily eats and slowly wakes. I Thessalonians 1:4 says this "knowing, brethren, beloved by God, His choice of you;". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our Wanna Be Farm. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Birth Story Part 3. Matt answered: "Zebadiah" Bestowed by Yahweh; gift from God. They wrapped him up and brought him back to me. Finally , finally,. I was rescued from the dark places in my own head. My little boy filled up all the space, pulling me outside myself into the world around me. I didn't notice as they stitched me up. Not a single thought was about pain. January 22, 7:35 pm It was over. Birth Story Part 2. How do you birth that. Birth story part 1. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Wanna Be Farm.

This was one of the most fun backpacking trips I've ever been on. Some of that, I think, was lower expectations on my part, some of it was Caroline being an awesome companion, and most of it was grace. Start of the Panorama Trail (plus my tiny baby bump) Later that day we crossed over the waterfall down in the distance. Caroline making bacon. yum! Mariposa grove (and me being obnoxious about my belly). And except for a small portion where it takes you straight up and over some serious hills, most of it i...

Lunch Time Musings: Caring Too Much
http://lunchtimemusings.blogspot.com/2015/05/caring-too-much.html
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. Because He undertakes to care for us, it will keep us close to Him and strengthen us against temptation. "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.". 1) Philippians 4:6 2) Isaiah 26:1. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. I'm going here soon and it makes my heart happy. How does the garden grow. His powers of intuition seem to be increasing :]. Our tomato harvest has been enormous. We've been using them to make fresh pasta sauce from a basic recipe in my Martha Stewart cookbook. Saute onion and garlic cloves in a dash of olive oil until soft. Add diced tomatoes. Toss in thyme or basil. Simmer 25 minutes. We've eaten a jar or two, given away several jars and have some in our freezer. Yummy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The last several months have been more settled. I'm grateful for the repose after so much movement (literally) last year. But being still doesn't mean control. Changed happened around. Me and I've said many goodbyes recently. Sad goodbyes to people who were really good parts of my life. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our Wanna Be Farm. Simple template. Turn ugly - the Bible is clear - sin gives birth to death. With all the sweetness and love, it would be understandable to glance past the nugget of danger. But I want to be vigilant. At peace, free, redeemed, but vigilant. I don't have to fear mistakes in motherhood any more than I have to fear mistakes in following Christ. The love I have for Zeb is not perfect but I have the perfect love of Christ and THAT love casts out all fear. The fellowship is secure in Him. It is not broken. Since both books tell...

This little nugget of a post is for all you loyal blog readers (or random passerbyers). I confess, I love dancy weddings best of all :D It was a bit more challenging being pregnant but I got in a couple moves before I had to sit down. Photo's are compliments of Kara Muse Photography. My favorite thing is how everyone else is disturbed but Sara is just busting a move right next to me. What a great friend. Matt is super funny also, like he's trying to figure out what's going on here, haha! Our Wanna Be Farm.
