Sunday, August 16, 2009. Toba Inlet Trip in Contrast. Here is a poem and some picks from the next trip i did into the mountains and up Toba Inlet. the weather was in stark contrast to the first one i wrote about, so it gives you a nice veiw of the other side of the area, and the Poem (written By Tania Parker from NZ) captures the trip brilliantly. I met Cathy and Tracey one bored day. What’s there to do in Powell River I say? We’re off on a seven day kayak. Join us and get ready to pack. Pulls us up to a...

Wednesday, 10 February 2010. A tribute to brave African Women. At this time of the year, lets remember those brave women who shook African history to its core (yes, our greatgrandmothers of those begone years). For this reason, February will be the month of celebrating African women (in my blog at least)! I see that some of you fear to go forward to fight for our king. I must say this, if you men will not go forward, we the Women will. I shall call upon my fellow women'. The War of the Golden Stool.

Walk into the darkness, and find hope… | My path to become a shaman

Walk into the darkness, and find hope…. Sometimes, one thing, is everything. Spiritual, Psychological, Does it matter? December 8, 2016. Along the path I have wandered, our main teachings come from four weekend learning experiences that are done in the name of the four cardinal directions, and the spirits that are associated with each. They went like this:. South: Hatun Amaru (The Great Serpent). North: Huanacauri (Dragon) and Siwar Qenti (Royal Hummingbird). As I have more and more people reach out to m...
