Some Quotes: thinking_well
http://thinking-well.livejournal.com/56398.html
And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. The true way to soften one's troubles is to solace those of others. One of the things I keep learning is that the secret of being happy is doing things for other people. The secret to happiness is not in doing what one likes to do, but in liking what one has to do. Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life. People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing. Margaret B. Runbeck. Not a Riddl...

The Dresden Dolls - Bad Habit. I forgot what it was like to be the new kid. I suppose I'll start my first post off with a lovely little story I wrote a few months back. The title of this is "Entities". The shear mass of this thing how much space will this object that is still growing take up? Many questions like this rush into my mind and keep coming till I am aware that I am having a panic attack of some sorts. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. A Toast: thinking_well

Discovering that I regret less than I thought. To THAT music, to those nights, to that lifestyle, to those discoveries, to that misery and that learning experience. Broken hearts, mood swings, lost loves, the past that will haunt you forever, bad choices, good decisions, tears, anger, frustration, and long nights of no sleep. Here's to always waking up and hoping. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

ONCE THERE WAS: thinking_well
http://thinking-well.livejournal.com/55693.html
Once there was a woman, who had come to a foreign country, with a man she loved and had just married. She knew no one and had no family in this country. Once there was a woman, who had tears in her eyes when her vicious mother-in-law told her "well you shouldn't have thrown away your baby" after her miscarriage. Once there was a woman, who lay her newborn infant on her chest, and proudly called her the most beautiful corsage in the world. Once there was a woman, who lived in fear of her husbands rage.

Some of the shells that wash up on the beach were once very beautiful. We don't know what kind of journey they had to take to get them in. Their fragile condition. The same is true for people. Be kind.". Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. Quite a while ago, when I was in high school, I ran into this girl who carried with her a small 365 day calender. It was battered and obviously had been opened many times. No It's my '365 Reasons to be Happy.'". The girl had taken the little book and filled every square with some reason for her to be happy. Some of them were code words for memories. Some of them were things she just liked. I may be feeling pain.

It takes time to heal. From now to tomorrow. Deep into the Earth. Day by day,. A little at a time,. And let it set. It takes time to heal. It may feel very awkward,. As if you're making empty promises,. As if you're simply spanning empty space. But someday, somehow, somewhere,. Upon a brand new shore,. Glancing back at the bridge. Which you alone have built. It takes time to heal.". Written by our friend Ted Hibbard. As posted in the Inspiration Peak Forum on April 29, 2004. Post a new comment.

Language does have the power to change reality. Therefore, treat your. Words as the mighty instruments they are - to heal, to bring into being,. To remove, as if by magic, the terrible violations of childhood, to. Nurture, to cherish, to bless, to forgive - to create from the whole. Cloth of your soul, true love.". Post a new comment.
