Went to the Wallowas for a backcountry hut tour. Spilled boiling water on my right hand and right foot. Killed the trip. When the photos come in I will put them with full story on the weekend. Sunday, December 23, 2007. First real trip of the season. The weather was looking good, it was Friday. Man it was hard but I decided to get some turns. Driving up the clouds did not look good so instead of summiting. And this view. It was really cold in the clouds but as soon as I broke out of them it was as pleasant. Time to get some.

Spent most of my time top roping 5.10's and checked out several new (to me) routes. Friday, September 21, 2007. The Shack remodel project of 2007 is inching across the finish line. Other than the sweltering 90 degree temperatures it was a perfect day with good views of a nearly snow-less Mount Hood. Round trip time was 7 hours with a beer and lunch break at the top. The "whenever I feel like it" status report from Leisure Life Chuck. Monday, July 16, 2007. I just got back last night from Chicago. Kerry and I were there to attend a friend's wedding and decided to make a long weekend out of it. Prior to the wedding we spent a couple of nights at Hotel Burnham. A hip boutique hotel right in downtown Chicago. Friday morning we visited the Art Institute of Chicago. And the new Millennium Park. Afterwards we had a long lunch at The Gage. To go to the Hancock Observatory.
