The Kesner Family: Feb 6, 2012
http://tawnykesner.blogspot.com/2012_02_06_archive.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. This year we decided to have Mariah and Chase enter the school's science fair. The kids have loved it. Mariah built (with help from Brian) two different towers and tested the strength of each of them. Chase did a experiment that involved sending a lego car loaded with a raw egg down a ramp at different inclines. We bring them to the school tomorrow morning and will have the fair on Thursday. Here we are testing the strength of the tower. Mariah added sand to the bucket, litt...

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. But it wasn't exactly easy. Brian has put in alot of hours to pull this off. The walls of the pantry had 2 vents, a cold air return, electricity wiring, and were load bearing. Sounds like a wall that shouldn't come down, huh? The pantry when we bought the house. This is taken from the kitchen. Demolition day. The dry wall is gone. Now we can see all the projects looming in our near future. The view of "the wall," as we've termed the project, from the dining room.

Heading into Ariuuna's home. They built this home themselves. It's basically one large room with part of it designated as a kitchen and the other part a living room/bedroom. They have an outhouse within their fenced in property. There are wires brought into the home for electricity. Reading the letter from my girls. Anyways, I can h...

Monday, May 28, 2012. This is something I wrote for Chase's kindergarten teacher back in September. Mrs. Meyer had asked for some information about each child. He just finished full-day kindergarten last week. He had a wonderful year and adjusted very well. Here are some of Chase's newborn shots. Chase gets completely "into" any projects we do. He had fun dying Easter eggs and turned his hands sparkly green in the process. One of our few snowy days this winter. Check out that strawberry. I love you Chase!

The Kesner Family: Our visit to Gan-Ochir
http://tawnykesner.blogspot.com/2013/05/our-visit-to-gan-ochir.html
Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Our visit to Gan-Ochir. Gan-Ochir's tiny home. A little tent was outside, not sure what purpose it served. This is Nara's cousin in the doorway, who was so sweet to drive us around all morning. Gan-Ochir was wearing his coat inside the house. There is no heat or running water in his home. Gan-Ochir and his three year old cousin. He was very sweet to him and was excited to show him the new toy. Nara showing him the food we brought. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

LDS Hungary Budapest Mission. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: December 2014. December 6, 2014. About 6 months before our mission call, when we were still filling out Church forms, I had the distinct impression that I needed to see if we could reestablish contact with our friends. Through Facebook, they were found. A few months later, when we told them about our mission call, the husband said, Why on earth would your Church send you to Hungary? The Bridge at Andau.

LDS Hungary Budapest Mission. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. December 25, 2015. This post is in response to something Connor showed me on his iPhone…. the six ways to get around in Hungary. He was chiding us for not being hip to the public transportation here (at that time). But in my quest to make this posting, I discovered a few more than six ways to get around Budapest! But they are very serious about their positions as train workers! Here is the inside large rooms. This train...
