Trip of a lifetime. Saturday, June 04, 2005. Day 67 - Vis / Split. Woke late and Crea cooked breakfast (the 1st since we got married! It was great to finally have a decent breakfast. Afterwards we went back into Split and had dinner before spending the rest of the evening wandering around the old town. The Old Town in Split is a lot smaller than expected and is full of ladies fashion shops. After the walk we had a few drinks before heading home. Posted by Darrach at 7:58 pm. Trip of a lifetime. Saturday, June 04, 2005. Day 66 - Vis. Woke early and headed into town to go on our tour to the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island. We got driven to Komiso town where we caught a boat to the cave. After the cave we were dropped into a sandy beach on the island where is the water is magnificent and clear. We went for a long swim to a small cave before returning to the shore and relaxing. We had a few more dips that day before getting the boat back to Komisa and then a lift back to Vis.

Trip of a lifetime. Tuesday, June 07, 2005. Day 68 - Split. Went into town and found a place serving proper breakfast. Afterwards we walked around Split and saw all of the sights. The most amazing being Diocletians Palace and Mausoleum. After the sightseeing there wasnt much else to do because we discovered all of the museums are closed on Saturday afternoon and dont open until Tuesday am. But the lady at the city museum told us they were open Sunday am until noon. Posted by Darrach at 6:14 pm.

Trip of a lifetime. Saturday, June 04, 2005. Day 65 - Vis. Woke late and headed into town to pay the rent on our accommodation. We then bought a pair of reef shoes so that urchins wouldn't sting us anymore. Then went for coffee before walking to one of the headlands and looking at the old roman church on it. While sitting on the pier Crea sat on a dead sea urchin's spine so we had to return to the accommodation to do more sugery. Posted by Darrach at 7:46 pm. Rule No.9 - look before you sit!
