Darrell Anderson's Paintings, Marker Drawings and Prints: Marker Info
https://darrellanderson.blogspot.com/p/marker-info.html
Book: Value Sketching With Markers. OK, marker fans. You've been asking for this info. I use three different brands of markers, Touch, Prismacolor and Copic, and have been successful in refilling them all. At first I didn't see the value in refilling, but after I counted up the number of markers hanging around the studio it made economic sense.and especially after I ran out of marker juice during a demonstration. And they are good.maybe the site is a little easier to navigate.). Prismacolor markers can a...
Darrell Anderson's Paintings, Marker Drawings and Prints: Summer Gazebo, 12x16
https://darrellanderson.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer-gazebo-12x16.html
Book: Value Sketching With Markers. Friday, June 26, 2015. Summer Gazebo, 12x16. Some shade and an invitation to paint. Oh, and a free lunch on top of it. The large brushes let me simplify the bigger shapes, preventing them from being too fussy. Marilyn, owner of the property and my new friend, enjoyed watching it come together and invited me back to paint some spectacular flowers. I love this time of the year. Posted by Darrell Anderson. Darrell Anderson's Paintings, Marker Drawings and Prints: Hidden in the Studio
https://darrellanderson.blogspot.com/2015/06/hidden-in-studio.html
Book: Value Sketching With Markers. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Hidden in the Studio. Docked Up, 10x12. I'm Cleaning the Studio. That may not sound like ground shaking news. Before I do, however, I know another artist who has also recently culled through his work and found some treasures. Dan Corey,. Very much worth a look at his Facebook page HERE. Here is just one 20x24.awesome, huh? Back to my finds. The first one has hung around the studio being moved from box to box. I threw it away at least four ti...
Darrell Anderson's Paintings, Marker Drawings and Prints: Rocks and Water
https://darrellanderson.blogspot.com/2015/07/rocks-and-water.html
Book: Value Sketching With Markers. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Lost in the Blue Mountains, Jamaica, 8x10. I find continually mesmerizing. Rocks, because they have just been around so long.these were likely sitting pretty much like this when Columbus breezed through the Caribbean.and water because it is constantly moving and changing. What counter play. The unmoving slowly being moved by the perpetual soft force of liquid. Cascade Stream, 9x12. Up the Kootenai, Montana, 11x14. Thanks for checking this out.
Darrell Anderson's Paintings, Marker Drawings and Prints: Kiss Me Quick, 16x20
https://darrellanderson.blogspot.com/2015/07/kiss-me-quick-14x18.html
Book: Value Sketching With Markers. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Kiss Me Quick, 16x20. My Only Fish Painting. Occurred about a year ago. Because a friend bought a special kind for a dinner. He ran the risk of sacrificing them by setting them on a platter under warm lights and letting some of us paint them. Those fish ain't cheap. Getting back to the studio I scraped that part off intending to put something else in it's place. Eventually it drifted into studio obscurity, lost amid all the other canvases. Howev...

Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. A few days ago I saw the Picasso exhibit at The Seattle Art Museum. It is an amazing show. The thing I find most inspiring about Picasso, other than his incredible vision and skill, is his commitment to each subject. This is what I was feeling as I worked on this print. Thank you for your comments. Hope you visit this site again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant. Monday, May 24, 2010. This was a fun, a monotype with metallic collage materials. I photographed it with the flash so the shine of the metallic would come through. The shiny surface contrasts with the dullness of the ink so as you move around the piece it is constantly changing it's focal point. Links to this post. Monday, May 17, 2010. More Variations on Spring Theme. Links to this post. Labels: Monotype Tropical Fantasy.

Goodbye. May your sunset be golden.". Sunday, March 17, 2013. Farewell to this blog. Goodbye. So ends this blog. Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Hey, I didn't say what Christmas! How can I hear of this and not do something? How can I plan and shop and sacrifice my money to buy gifts for my loved ones without first doing what I can for someone I know is in desperate need; who lacks the very basics, the necessities of life? Americans are in trouble. So my first rule for Christmas is:. Give God the praise maybe?

We can drive big cars, toy cars, electric trains, roller coasters and even motor less go karts. You helped me understand what, "Be the good guy, wear the white hat" means and you taught my son to say Vandergraf Generator before he could recite his ABC's. You are more patient with me and my kids than any of us deserve. 2 Your family-I wouldn't know anything about...
