I have been bugging Darrell for over a year that I want to go on a vacation. Since we are trying to save money, we planned a small vacation in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. We stayed at my parent's house near Ft. Worth to save on hotel costs. Here are some pictures and memories from our fun weekend. We spent the morning just haning. Floor of the bulding.

We had a very busy Thanksgiving weekend and were able to spend time with both families. We went over to my parent's house on Wed. evening and ate a wonderful Pumpkin Soup recipe. She said that the secret ingredient. Is baby food. I'll have to get that one and post it for you! My maiden name was Swann. Darrell got this cute picture of our dogs napping together.

Saturday, October 22, 2011. We decided to take a trip to Anderson Farm's in Leesville, La today ALL the way from Lafayette! Well, it was fun, but not that fun! Just too long for a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time and really glad we were able to experience it though :). I just purchased a nice camera and I was so glad to bring it with me today and shoot some of these photos.I've got ALOT of work to do! I think I may need a longer, better lense for some of these pictures. Blogging Friends ;).

Monday, October 31, 2011. Fall McCann Farm 2011. I was so glad to get some pictures of Daddy and Mike working.I've seen it my whole life, but never thought to capture it. But the kids love riding the tractor and combine and I knew one day they'd like to see their Papa working on his land. Mike on the tractor! Every year my Uncle, Papa and Daddy put out corn to feed the deer to "plump" them up and tease them :( Poor things just don't know what their self into! Daddy on the combine with Sister.
