The Mentor Draft Episode. Wednesday, 20 May 2015. The highs become lows as the night begins to end. Searching for something to make the highs extend. You know it is wrong but the pull becomes too great. The urge too strong and now you will never have to wait. A whirlpool of emotion swirling around in your empty mind. Love and happiness distant, an emotion you can no longer find. A lifeless bottle stands all alone, which you continue to fill. Tools that enable you to escape to a life you can only dream.

Comments rattling around your head unable to escape. Too many things in its way can’t jump over the red tape. Tomorrow is a brand new day filled with endless dreams. Loving smiles so warm they embrace the glowing sunbeams. Waking up next to the one you love starts the perfect day. My life now a wash with colour no longer a shadow in grey.

The Mentor Draft Episode. Thursday, 18 June 2015. I can make it. They said I couldn’t do it, they closed every open door. Sometimes I was lonely, getting knocked down to the floor. They told me I was no good, didn’t believe I could play the part. Told me to go home, go back to the very start. I didn’t want to give up, kept holding my head up high. Wiped away my tears, didn’t want them to see me cry. I’ll continue to stand tall, take small steps each and every day. I can make it, I believe in who I am.
