Darren's life in China. My blog to keep anyone who might care informed. Scouting out my ‘hood. So near, in fact, that I was surprised I hadn’t seen it before. I could see it from out my window if it weren’t for another apartment complex blocking the view. Another really cool thing that I found was a HUGE outdoor sporting goods store. Me and My Boys! This is our CRAZY life. Saturday, June 20, 2009. Quite the overdue update. It's been quite the year, but here I stand now with a Masters in Educational Leadership. Yep, that means I'll be a school principal soon! Somebody help me. :) ) The other people with me are Jeri Heard and Brent Sukut (fellow Laurel School District teachers and Rocky cohort-mates). Me and My Boys! This is our CRAZY life. Sunday, April 12, 2009. Easter Sunday. An event-filled day! We began our day with Tay and Brayden looking thoroughly through their Easter basket. Of course, they were thrilled to get 2 new movies. Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar 2! I just love the excitement in their faces! We wrapped up our day with a delicious dinner at Andy and Jessie's house! Wednesday, July 20, 2011. So here I am blogging at 2am. Have lots to update but shall breakdown into few posts :). Manage to cope with finals after a torturing week of study! Realized that, to get something you want, you've gotta sacrifice quite abit. There's no easy way out. First 2 days i studied with one of my favourite couple! I got to go to a big, very interesting shopping center, see the Pacific ocean in China for the first time, ride on a boat, and see a park that reminded me of some parks back in the US. Oh, and I also found a motorcycle shop which I think I might visit later when I’m in the market for one. :). There are some cool indoor shopping places in Tanggu.
