Little Steps in Motherhood: June 2010
http://ryansmommyslittlesteps.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Little Steps in Motherhood. My take on being a mom, staying home with my sons and communicating online with friends and family, near and far. Sunday, June 27, 2010. For me this was a scarier than heck thought. I couldn't stop thinking about it for the days between our pre-op meeting and my c-section. When the nurses started having difficulties putting in my iv, I grew less and less confident that things would go well in the OR. I am extremely happy to report however, that things went. We stopped to fill ...

Little Steps in Motherhood: Happy Canada Day
http://ryansmommyslittlesteps.blogspot.com/2010/07/happy-canada-day.html
Little Steps in Motherhood. My take on being a mom, staying home with my sons and communicating online with friends and family, near and far. Friday, July 2, 2010. How did you celebrate? Our day started out a little later than planned so we missed the parade. So we headed down to the beach to take in some festivities. It was quite a work out parking a couple of blocks away and then pulling Adam and Ryan in the wagon with the rest of our stuff and carrying Anthony in the Ergo. And this time they had a pic...

The Skidmore Brood: Thanksgiving 2011
http://skidmorebrood.blogspot.com/2011/11/thanksgiving-2011.html
A growing brood full of dudes.and a mom. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Time for a quick recap of the events surrounding Thanksgiving 2011. We stayed in Spokane for the week of Thanksgiving. Uncle George, who was the only out-of-Spokane Skidmore. Who came to town for the holiday, flew in on Tuesday night so we spent the vast majority of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Papa and DeeDee's. House (Papa and DeeDee. Are the somewhat self-chosen grandparent names for my father and mother). The Uncle George Factor.

The Skidmore Brood: December 2011
http://skidmorebrood.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
A growing brood full of dudes.and a mom. Sunday, December 25, 2011. I'll return back to update the advent daily Christmas events from where I left off later, but for now I want to document the highlights and some elect details from the days leading up to and the actual day of Christmas. Technically Christmas day isn't quite over, but since it is really all about the kids, essentially it is because they are now asleep. For Sam - a 16" x 16" Lego sheet and a 3 in 1 Lego set. Thursday, December 8, 2011.

The Skidmore Brood: May 2009
http://skidmorebrood.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
A growing brood full of dudes.and a mom. Monday, May 11, 2009. The stats are in ladies. Yes, I'm talking to you Amelia, Abby and Lily. You better strike now while the iron's hot 'cause this hunka hunka burnin love won't stay single for long. If you like an average sized guy, you are in luck. Weighing in at a whopping 20lbs and 28 inches long, he's just the right size. And with an 18 1/2 in. head circumference, his head is proportionate to his body. No bobble heads here. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. One of the "...

Harrison Family: October 2013
http://sjharrisonfamily.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Aubrey has been really into trains lately. Randomly, on the way to a Halloween party at John's work she yelled out "I NEED a choo-choo train! We've been trying to help her understand the difference between needs and wants so we had a little conversation about it on the car. Little did we know all our good parenting was about to be undermined: there was a train at the party! Both the girls were pretty into it. Even if you can't tell by their faces. They also played some games.

The Skidmore Brood: February 2012
http://skidmorebrood.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
A growing brood full of dudes.and a mom. Thursday, February 9, 2012. Ronald D Christensen - A Dear Uncle. We just returned home from Boise and Idaho Falls where we attended the funeral and burial of my uncle Ron. It was a challenge to get there, but we are happy that we endured the inconvenience and stress to be there, but I'll get to those details later. First, uncle Ron. His life came to an end on January 26, 2012 in his own home on his own terms, shortly after being sung to by his sister.
