Darryl Bernstein Studios: Our New Kansas City Studio!
http://darrylbernstein.blogspot.com/2010/11/our-new-kansas-city-studio.html
Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Our New Kansas City Studio! We have made a major upgrade to our shooting space in Kansas City! We have moved into a 4000 square foot gem near the historic River Market. We are so excited about the brilliant natural light that pours through a glass wall spanning more than 70 feet. Finished with polished concrete floors and reclaimed wood accents, this space is both versatile and beautiful. But don't take our word for it, see for yourself. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

To allow me to photograph her baby right in their parking lot! Later, the Airstream would be digitally transported it into the various settings. Now onto wardrobe and models! And ISH Vintage Clothing. Period-inspired hair and makeup from Glynne Davies. Props from Jacob at Gregg's Greenlake Cycle. Nock Point Archery,. Yes, w...

Thursday, August 6, 2009. Working on the book (JELLO MOLD). I finally had the fire lit under my butt to do new work for my Darryl Bernstein Studio site (still under construction). I have avoided my own shooting for too long. It's just that we are incredibly busy shooting fine work for our clients. Why do I need to actually execute the ideas that pop into my head? Isn't it enough to "see" them in my mind's eye? Well, that gives me another fine excuse. Even if it sucks! To stop making excuses! I am so glad...

Darryl Bernstein Studios: WHAT'S IN A NAME?
http://darrylbernstein.blogspot.com/2010/05/whats-in-name.html
Thursday, May 6, 2010. WHAT'S IN A NAME? A few months ago, I attended an APA meeting and had my website selected at random for a live review in front of the audience. The panel was made up of agency folks from my local Seattle market. I found myself retelling the scene to colleagues. Friends like this: "A CD from Creature and another AD from Rocket Dog thought." and it struck me. who names a company "Creature" or "RocketDog? What happened to the days of J Walter Thompson, Chiat/Day, Saatchi and Saatchi?
