Thursday, April 12, 2012. Friday (yes, I'm now a week behind). Lunch was with with Nehemias and Elvira (pictured), a couple that live almost right next to the church building. Really good chicken breasts. And if I haven’t mentioned it already, a great number of the folks here live within a half mile of the building, quite a few within a 2 minute walk. The brethren here have been very expressive about their appreciation for these lessons, and very warm toward me. It’s good to be here. Two Days, One Post.

Saturday, November 17, 2007. The Family and Home of Gilmar and Maria (Pics). I am home in Georgia, but I have a few things left to post from my trip. In my previous post I spoke about Gilmar and Maria, but I didn't have my camera with me when we were at their home last Monday morning for breakfast. Pics have now been exchanged between David/Amy and me, so here are some pics from that Monday morning. Their house is made of mud brick, a floor of concrete, and roofed with a single layer of corrugated metal.
