Web Design and Build. Page Builder data lost after migration. Last updated:18 August 2016. I’ve spent a lot of time this morning looking into an issue with a client site migration where Page Builder data was lost after the migration. I have migrated many many WordPress sites by exporting the database, replacing the old URL with the new URL in the exported SQL and re-importing. Never had an issue. But in this case I did, and it’s related to how Page Builder stores data. This data is. Posted in Web Design ...

whoisthechallenger: October 2014
http://who-is-the-challenger.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 October 2014. In the darkness, a noise. A shuffling. Silence again. Suddenly shadows moved and scurried to one side, then the other. Then to the boot of the car, which I closed and then locked. After my longest separation from the moor of the year, by the end of October, I was raring to go. Clock change weekend of course means the Letterbox Meet at Lee Moor. Although I was eager to attend (I missed April's Meet) last minute work commitments inevitably prevented this again. Battle plans Part VI.

Monday, 30 March 2015. The 72nd Meet took place this past weekend. It has been 37 years since Letterboxing's first Meet at the Forest Inn near Hexworthy. A Dartmoor pub which has since closed, but up for sale. For just a £1! The bi-annual gathering now calls Lee Moor Village Hall. I did attend. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces, and purchase the new catalogue. With charity walks bought, Letterboxing routes must now be planned for the Lyd Valley, Cox Tor and Mel Tor areas. The letterboxes ...

Wednesday, 22 July 2015. New Clues: A walk of snipe. Here are my Summer Letterbox clues, This is a series of Letterboxes around Woodcock Hill on Dartmoor's North West corner. Snipe are any one of 25 wading birds, including Dartmoor residents, the curlew and woodcock. A 'walk' is their collective noun, and this series recognises the birds and. The pools around Rattlebrook Head and Lyd Head are deep, but can be very easily circumnavigated. You have been warned! These boxes have been removed from the moor.

whoisthechallenger: December 2014

Wednesday, 31 December 2014. Review of the year. 365 days. 8760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 2014 has finally reached it's conclusion. Time to reflect on what has been another year on Darmoor letterboxing. Last Winter's storms gave way for a long settled Summer, and a dry Autumn which enabled long and enjoyable days on the Moor. Perfect for photography too! In Gloucestershire. An accident that left her husband Roy serious injured, but he is recovering. The theft of people's property remains a constant threat ...

Saturday, 23 August 2014. I took a few choice paths in Fernworthy Forest to emerge on the slopes of Tom's Hill, taking the 'digger' path over Sittaford Tor and over to Statts House. In the distance I could make out 2 diggers around Flat Tor Pool. A surprise, since the August work. Dr Tom Greeves discovered Dartmoor's highest row up here in 2010. Thursday, 7 August 2014. On the North-East corner of the Moor, nestled at the base of Meldon Hill is Chagford. A neat and historic stannary town. My most...St Mi...

Thursday, 20 August 2015. I think I have found a new favourite place on the moor! My most recent walk took me to the area around Bag Tor (another forbidden tor) and Saddle Tor - so I took the chance in the sunshine to wander up to Rippon and see what I could see. And, wow, what a view! My Letterbox walk garnered 14 stamps including a couple that had gone unfound for several months. This is surely an area that deserves further visits soon! Wednesday, 19 August 2015. I included a warning, namely. The MOD a...
