Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: Is it too late to send in a Peer Reference?

http://dartmouthquestions.blogspot.com/2010/01/is-it-too-late-to-send-in-peer.html

Is it too late to send in a Peer Reference? 9:14 AM Answered by Paul. No, it's not too late. You can still submit the peer reference to us. My suggestion at this point is that you fax it to 603-646-1216. Please note: It will be helpful to us if you only send it once. We're finding that some peers fax the reference (or email it) and then follow up with a second submission via regular mail. This slows down our processing of the application material. Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: Is it okay if a relative writes my Peer Reference?

http://dartmouthquestions.blogspot.com/2009/12/is-it-okay-if-relative-writes-my-peer.html

Is it okay if a relative writes my Peer Reference? 9:58 AM Answered by Paul. Yes For example, I recently read an application that contained a peer reference from a close sibling. Remember, it is a peer. Reference; if you're thinking about a relative make sure it is someone close to you who knows you well. What do you think? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: I want my best friend to write my Peer Recommendation, but she is also applying to Dartmouth. Is it okay for her to write it?

http://dartmouthquestions.blogspot.com/2009/12/i-want-my-best-friend-to-write-my-peer.html

I want my best friend to write my Peer Recommendation, but she is also applying to Dartmouth. Is it okay for her to write it? 10:11 AM Answered by Becky Munsterer. The bottom line is that we don't care who writes the recommendation, as long as this person is able to provide us with context about who you are, and what you could bring to a college community. Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: I have materials I want to add to my application. Will you accept them?

http://dartmouthquestions.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-have-materials-i-want-to-add-to-my.html

I have materials I want to add to my application. Will you accept them? 1:51 PM Answered by Becky Munsterer. Some students will mail, email, or fax additional materials to the admissions office after their application has become complete. We will happily accept these materials, providing they supplement your application with NEW information. What do you think? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dartmouth Admissions Uncommonly Asked Questions: Will it hurt my chances for admission, if I switch from not applying for aid to applying for aid?

http://dartmouthquestions.blogspot.com/2009/12/will-it-hurt-my-chances-for-admission.html

Will it hurt my chances for admission, if I switch from not applying for aid to applying for aid? 9:56 AM Answered by Paul. No, it will not hurt your chances for admission. Dartmouth is need-blind in its admissions process, which means that whether or not you apply for aid will have no bearing on your admission decision. What do you think? Perspectives from Dartmouth Admissions: August 2009

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. It's not bragging if you can do it. Dartmouth ranked #1 in new. Ranking for 'Best Undergraduate Teaching' among national universities. Perspectives from Dartmouth Admissions: November 2009

http://dartmouthperspectives.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 30, 2009. Today, I got an e-mail from an applicant who wanted to know how much a student’s SAT scores affect his or her chances of being admitted. I’m sure she is not alone in wondering about testing's place in the admissions process at highly selective schools like Dartmouth. I was certainly worried about the SATs when I applied years ago. So here goes.Testing 101. You did not do as well as you had hoped on the Critical Reading section of the SAT I. You scored a 4 on the AP exam. On a f...

http://dartmouthperspectives.blogspot.com/2010/04/getting-up-things-to-say-for-yourself.html

Thursday, April 15, 2010. Getting up things to say for yourself". April is an interesting month.
