Rachelle Boyd Art: Totoro Forests
http://rboydart.blogspot.com/2012/07/homage-to-foliage-imaginary.html
Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Sometimes I really wish I lived inside a Miyazaki film. More specifically, I wish Totoro was real, and could take a nap on his belly in some moss-covered ancient forest. The best I can do is garden with Georgia, who snores just like Totoro (but with less creepy teeth), and imagine my tiny yard looked more like this:. An ideal place for spending a summer day. An ideal napping companion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

David Saracino Illustration: December 2011
http://davidsaracino.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. Just recently got another request from the NYObserver to do a rush job to accompany more of a narrative, than an article. It was a nice change of pace- and actually I was pleasantly surprised that NYO published articles like this, as I really enjoy illustrating more narrative work. This one was about the exploits of one of their Staff Writers, and his discovery that his trainer was an "ex and future con.". And here's the link to the article so you can read it!
