Because we hadn't been able to brush her out, and probably because her spirits were low and she wasn't interested in grooming, she had developed a number of bad mats in her fur. They got those out, so she's looking a little less rough and hopefully feeling a bit better. We're baffled and worried and worn out. How can we make her well again? Furry pants, no more.

A Cat's-eye view of the world. Tuesday, December 26, 2006. It's a day too late for Christmas, but I had a lovely soak in the big bathtub this morning. Nice and warm and relaxing after a hard day of playing in the tree. I hadn't had a bath since that little person. Arrived. Since it had been so very long, and since the water temperature was just right, I slipped right in and sprawled out in the tub. My fur floated for a while, but I got nice and wet. Oh, that was good! A Cat's-eye view of the world. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Werner and Melanie write:. What to get a cat for her first birthday? This is the question we asked ourselves. Considering that she hasn't been drinking enough water, we decided to overcome our fears ( how much of a splash zone will she have? Just how much of a mess can she make? And give Phoebe a drinking fountain. (As for the splash zone, you can see some of the beads of water on the carpet.). She's still not exactly sure about actually drinking.
