RV Travel and Satellite Internet. Being able to use the internet while traveling matters a lot to many RVers. Until a couple of years ago, that meant taking your laptop into an RV park office, or the laundry or rec room, and using a dataport to make a phone call to a dialup ISP. For satellite connections you have two choices, and two ways for doing it. The two satellite choices are Starband and HughesNet (formerly Direcway), the two ways are automatic mount, and tripod or other manually pointed mount .

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Today 2/24/09, I decided that I needed a break so I combined a Geocaching/Sight seeing trip to the Gila Cliff Dwellings. The following pictures are in areas that I found Geocaches. This Was really a neat place. The windmill was actually turning. This is at the beginning of the trail into the Gila Cliff Dwellings. The trail is 1 mile long, but is not a bad walk. The first half is a gentle climb up to the dwellings. The other half is fairly steep but is downhill.

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Not a happy camper. Now they want me to air out the wound and let it scab over. I have another appointment with them the 8th of next month. That’s my story and I'm sticking to it. Tuesday 08/18 John and I went to Palomas MX to get some OSO Negro (Mexican Gin). We each picked up 2 bottles. Had some Guacamole and Tacos. Monday, October 26, 2009. 2nd Annual Luna Quad Squad Rodeo. The 2nd annual Luna Quad Squad Rodeo was held at the home of Harold and Barb Hood.There was a great turnout of contestants, so there was a lot of meeting and greeting going on. Dry camping spots were provided for those from out of town or who just wanted to stay there. This is the day that the actual rodeo begins.Bloody Mary’s were served beginning at 8:00 AM. Some were ready and some were not! How in the hell are we going to wake Silver City up?
