How to retrieve a .DAT

Retrieving a .DAT from the Mavic or P4. Retrieving the .DAT from the Mavic or P4 is done by using the DJI Assistant 2 app supplied by DJI. Version 1.0.9 is much different from the previous versions. If you are using V.1.0.9 go here. DJI Assistant 2 V.1.0.8. Start DJI Assistant 2 and wait for it to display the AC as a Connected Device. On the next screen select the Flight Records tab. Next you'll be asked to confirm that it's OK to enter Flight Data Mode. Select OK. Next a list of flights will be shown.

Retrieving a .DAT from the P3 or Inspire. 1 Go to the DJI GO App and connect to the P3 or Inspire. 2 MC Settings - select Advanced Settings Advanced Settings - Enter flight data mode. 3 wait until you get a dialog telling you that the P3 or Inspire is in flight data mode. 4 Connect a USB cable from the USB plug in the nose of the P3 or Inspire to your computer. CsvView Introduction

CsvView was conceived becasue it was difficult to visualize the .csv file that is produced by DatCon. As CsvView was being developed it became apparent that it could be generalized and used to visulaize data in other log files. CsvView can accept these log file types. Txt file produced by the DJI Go App. TXTlogToCSVtool. Is used to convert the .txt to a .csv. Note: The Mac version of CsvView can not accept .txt files. DAT from the Phantom 3, Inspire 1, Mavic Pro, and Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro.
