Food Eaten: September 2012
http://foodeatenlifelived.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 10, 2012. Lately, the only things I've been cooking for myself are salads. So I'm not so much cooking as chopping and combining. You see, I've got this new job. That involves lots and lots and lots of cooking. I'm spending 40 hours of my week up on my feet cooking away. Sometimes it's really hard, but mostly it's just great. I've gotten over the fear that they accidentally hired the wrong person and am trying to make as few mistakes as possible. Links to this post. Diary of a Locavore.

Pen&Paperie: Flowering Florida Fall
http://penandpaperie.blogspot.com/2011/09/flowering-florida-fall.html
Welcome. Painting and Stationery Photography Food. For the Smithsonian's annual Free Museum Day. We headed down to Historic Spanish Point in Osprey. My parents had taken us to visit when we were small, but all that my siblings and I recall of that venture is that we made butter in baby food jars! There were so many amazing flowers. As many mangroves as I've seen in my life, I don't think I've ever seen the bud before, or the very beginning of the seed pod. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Today, 15 june. June 15, 2011. Some words on my mind:. 8212; a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty, art, and taste and with the creation and appreciation of beauty. 8212; a Japanese school of Mahayana Buddhism emphasizing the value of meditation and intuition. The quality or condition of being plain or natural. Feeling limited. or… stifled. Can’t really figure out why. And annoyed, a little. I should write this down for real, though. No use in putting it on the internet. June 10, 2011.

Welcome. Painting and Stationery Photography Food. After going for a jog in the balmy evening heat (which wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected – the breeze was breezy and the “feels like 89” temperature noted online was an exaggeration) I decided to go for a swim. Thankfully no one else here ever seems inclined to swim after dark, so the pool is generally mine. Floating is one of my favorite things in the world. (Easily pleased? Back on the surface of the water where I hovered, one of my favorite phenomena...
