ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN. TWO key issues that must be kept in mind when making a safety plan. Every safety plan is unique and must be taylored to the individual. Victims know their situation better than anyone else. If you are still in an abusive situation. Trust at least one person to know what the situation is. If you have to leave, make a plan where you will go. Have an emergency bag packed in case you have to leave suddenly. You may have to leave it with a family member or friends. ABUSE THRIVES ON SILENCE.
