Monday, November 7, 2011. When does a baby become a "big boy"? Around here that time isn't marked by crawling or walking or talking or by birthdays but by something that forever changes the appearance from baby to little boy. The very first haircut. I took Erik in to "Lil Whipper Snippers" the same place I had taken James for his first haircut. We popped him in the chair and away she went. He truly was not sad here but didn't like the combing of his hair. See he doesn't mind at all. Look how long it was!

Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Its been a while but lifes been crazy! HOWEVER since I've been getting razzed a bit by a fellow blogger .KORI! I figured I'd take a few minutes and upload some new pictures and thoughts mostly pictures not many thoughts ;)! This is what hopped down the bunny trail from Solway to our house Easter weekend! James picked out ears for everyone at Target. We went bowling. We went to the museum. The following weekend we headed to Grandma Debbie's! Uncle Jay is always good for a hug!

Yesterday we were so desperate for snow I made a snowman out of my mashed potatoes.green bean arms and venison gravy hair.James thought it was naughty that I was playing with my food but it got a good chuckle out of him. Monday, February 28, 2011. Ruth Cooper Memorial Fundraiser. These girls raised over $33,000! These girls are very near and dear to my heart. You may recall I asked for prayers for them last year when they lost their mom. I'm now asking for your prayers that their memorial fundraiser goes off without a hitch and they make not only money for research but that the research makes PROGRESS! Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Going in search of a sledding hill! We didn't have to go too far. James is a fan of the belly flop n slide. Erik is just a fan of sledding, he LOVED it even when he crashed and ended up with a face full of snow and lost his nuk he was a trooper! Friday, October 21, 2011. After two botched attempts at cakes one by burning and the other by frosting disaster. I tried to make dinosaur cakes using cookie cutters but once frosted they just looked like big green turds - a fact that I have been assured Erik will think is wonderful in a few years.).
