Happy Christmas from a Saxton, a Smith, and SaxtonSmiths. This feels a bit like a “what we did this year” essay when you get back to school! Tom and Helen celebrated a combined 80th birthday in September – a bit frightening, but Helen reckoned that she was 21 and Tom was 59! Actually it was 39 and 40 ). What’s really frightening is that at some point next year the 4 of us will be 100 combined! Helen is still enjoying her job at the RSC, taking on more responsibility for the last stages of the move from p...

Happy Christmas from a Saxton, a Smith, and SaxtonSmiths. Another busy year has gone by – we hope you are as fit and well as we are. Jacob, having achieved excellent results in his KS2 SATS, has moved to a new school – Longsands College. Jacob is enjoying the new school, especially German and rugby (he was keen even before the World Cup)! Warhammer is still an ongoing obsession – and he spends hours making and painting the minute figures – it’s actually very impressive. Tom continues to be a member of th...

Happy Christmas from a Saxton, a Smith, and SaxtonSmiths. We’ve decided this year to send an email card and donate the sums saved to Pancreatic Cancer Research in memory of Tom’s cousin Mark who sadly died recently we hope you approve. Tom is as busy as ever working now on both London 2012 and the Athens Special Olympics in 2011. He’s been traveling quite a bit and often it seems we only meet like ships in the night! Jacob achieved an impressive set of A level results and started Maths at Southampton Uni...

Happy Christmas from a Saxton, a Smith, and SaxtonSmiths. Well, another year goes by, our children (as I suppose are everyone else’s) are growing up, and Helen and I just feel a year older. In fact, by the end of every week, about 20 years older…. Becomes completely illegible under conditions of stress! Charis started Key Stage 2 this year, and is loving it. Her frustration seems to be that she isn’t older and isn’t allowed to do all the things that Jacob is! Hope all is similarly uneventful with you.

Happy Christmas from a Saxton, a Smith, and SaxtonSmiths. Here we are again, our sole annual communication to some, more of the same boring stuff to others. Actually 2000 has been a pretty quiet year:-. He’s obsessed with Harry Potter and can’t wait for the film. 8221; She’s doing really well at school and never ever stops talking. She reads constantly – so we’re just embarking on moving her to a new room with more bookshelves. All in good health, we hope you are too. Tom, Helen, Jacob and Charis. 2009 H...

I’ve decided not to send Christmas cards this but I wanted to send some sort of holiday greeting to my friends and colleagues, but it is difficult in today’s world to know exactly what to say without offending someone. So I met with my lawyer yesterday, and on advice I wish to say the following:. By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:. Best Regards ( without prejudice ).
