Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Our Trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We flew to Puerto Vallarta for our annual beach vacation on Friday March 13th. It's never fun waking up at 3:15 am to catch a 6:00 am flight, but we were rewarded by a beautiful sunrise that morning as we flew from Seattle to PV. Here are two photos of the sunrise over Mt. Rainier. This is Mt. Adam's in the background and Mt. St. Helens in the foreground. Here's Dave at La Aguliera. It's the same condo we've stayed at the past three years.

I was there for a week waiting for my flight to McMurdo, Antarctica (that never came) and enjoyed the spring like weather, the green, green grass and the friendly fun people who inhabit this beautiful city that's suffered so much. Sunday, December 21, 2014. C-121 Super Connie Pegasus Plane wreck. A C-121 Constellation ("Super Connie") crashed on October 8, 1970 in Antarctica.
