A day in the life of a non-communicator. Sunday, November 30, 2003. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I think not accepting a gift because its expensive is equivalent to not accepting a gift because its cheap. It's the thought that counts - not the dollar value. Some people have more money than others but it doesn't make their gifts "sketchy" and it doesn't mean they "expect somethng". People don't always have ulterior motives. Posted by Heather : 11:05 PM. I'd hate to find out. Even if they real...

A day in the life of a non-communicator. Friday, October 31, 2003. Happy Halloween and other stuff. Hello guys.in response to the question, "When are we going to get together? I offer the following idea borrowed from one of my MIS colleagues, another WLU alumni. Sowhat do you guys think of that? Have you guys been missing all those business group meetings that used to dominate our lives? Just think, by doing this, we can reinstate the concept of group meetings and there will be no case studies to write!

A day in the life of a non-communicator. Friday, April 30, 2004. That's right, I was in Vegas from Friday until late Monday night. At some point I will give you a blow-by-blow account but tonight (and the past couple of nights) I've been too tired. :). I'm sure I'll tell all when I see you all again! If nothing else, you can leave a message (or call me depending on where my phone is in the house) on my cell 519-697-0308, or phone the parents' house at 613-396-1203. Posted by Becky : 7:06 PM. A day in the life of a non-communicator. Monday, June 14, 2004. Boo I'm sick. My nose refuses to stop running, my throat is sore, my head is achey. :(. Must have been that fun weekend I just had! I went to the National Magazine Awards on Friday nigth ($125/head, but I went free! Great food, good drinks, ok deserts, and boring award ceremony. I lead such an interesting life :). Posted by Becky : 4:02 PM. Saturday, June 05, 2004. How lazy am I? I think I need someone to kick my ass. I went to bed very ...

A day in the life of a non-communicator. Wednesday, March 31, 2004. One assignment done, three to go. Oi And they're all the journalistic ones :(. But at least I found out that the story I thought was absolute CRAP and was so embarrased to show John Stackhouse (one of the sr. editors at the Globe and Mail) is actually not so bad. I still need to do a few interviews, and I already knew that, but what I had so far isn't shite. :). Posted by Becky : 11:25 PM. Tuesday, March 30, 2004. Sunday, March 28, 2004.

Life on beautiful Cape Cod. Thursday, November 20, 2003. At long last, I'm finally getting around to editing and posting this. The building is drafty, which is why I'm usually complaining about my coworkers leaving doors open. If the door to the stairs is left open, all the warm air in the basement whooshes up to the rarely used first floor, leaving us warming our hands over our monitors. And the accompanying little bursts of cold air and the ways that noise travels when the upstairs windows are open.

A day in the life of a non-communicator. Tuesday, December 23, 2003. So I'm adjusting to life at home, which still really doesn't feel like home to me. It's a nice house and it's got all our furniture in it, but the house doesn't really welcome me home. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time. The Weeze likes it though! But Weeze really loves investigating the house, and hides all his little finds under my bed. So far, it's the plastic bags from out of mom's recycling bin. :) Hopefully I won't fin...I can...

A day in the life of a non-communicator. Saturday, February 28, 2004. Anyway, Suzanne offered to take anything Krista wanted back to Canada for her - as long as it wasn't too large. So Krista sent 2 pairs of pants back with Suzanne for her brother, Will, in London. So Suzanne makes arrangements to meet with Will to give him the pants. Will is so happy to get these pants, he tells Suzanne that he'll take her out for drinks with him and his roommate and she's more than. Posted by Becky : 4:47 PM. Ack Look ...

Tuesday, June 27, 2006. The Chiasma of Judgment. Despite my recent accolade as a mommyblogger. And my honorary degree from vagina university. I am still a man. That means I am pretty dense about some heavy shit, like all the fucking insecurity and the "judgmentality" among interacting parents (particularly moms). Despite all the shit that went down a few weeks ago. 2) Parent B makes an intentional values-based choice not. 3) Parent B resents (and judges) Parent A for making the "easy" choice. In any inte...
